We are able to offer 2 different study days, which can be adapted easily to suit the needs of your group. Both days are facilitated by Mel Scott, an Occupational Therapist and Teacher, with over 15 years experience working in mental health services. Mel honestly shares her own account of the loss of her babies as well as the care she received in her subsequent pregnancy in these well received and unique days.

This informative study day is interactive, using a variety of techniques to support learning (such as video, group work, and practical sessions). Suitable for aspiring midwives, student midwives, qualified midwives, antenatal teachers, Obstetric staff, neo-natal unit staff, hospice staff.

Being pregnant after the death of a baby is a difficult time for grieving parents, filled with particular challenges. This study day is a unique opportunity to further your knowledge about the experiences of parents who have been pregnant following the loss of their baby. Suitable for aspiring midwives, student midwives, qualified midwives, antenatal teachers, Obstetric staff, neo-natal unit staff.
