If you don't agree for your photo or full name to be shared then you will not be eligible for short-listing.
Civilian nominees such as a mum or dad, will need to be happy and agree to sharing their story/journey with the public. Your story will create part of your short-listed profile on our website. Your story will also be mentioned if successfully short-listed at the events ceremony, when listing the nominees for that award category. If the award is won by yourself, you will need to touch upon why you have been nominated and voted for in your acceptance speech.
Professional nominees such as a midwife or an organisation. When nominated by an (ex)client based on her/his personal experience, both parties need to be happy and agree to share the experience/story with the public.
Hospitals/organisations and the people within them. If you have been selected to represent them, you will need to get clearance from the relevant people/departments so that you can be included in media such as the newspapers, radio, photos and filming.
Up to 12 short-listed nominees will be selected from each category by the event organisers, these 12 nominees will go to public voting where the amount of votes will receive a score between 1-12, each shortlisted person per category will then be scored 1-12 by a judging panel. These scores will be added to form the winner.
