Dear Mummy and Daddy

Dear Mummy and Daddy,

We’d like to welcome you to our site. We are sorry that your treasured baby was unable to stay with you for longer and hope that, in time, you will find peace in the memories you have.

We wish you had no need for our services, but hope very much that you find some information here which will help you.

Jade and I run this site together. I have experienced an early miscarriage and a stillbirth –my son died during labour at full term. The information within this section is written mostly from the perspective of a stillbirth. Some of the suggestions may not be suitable for some situations.

If you cannot find the information you are looking for, or information for your particular situation please Contact Us to ask for advice, signposting or alternatively you can message our facebook page and we will ask our members to give you their advice.

You’ll find information to guide and support you if you have just discovered that your baby has sadly died. Simply navigate to the section which most suits your situation.

The information in this section is gathered and made available with the intention of providing support to you, after you have discovered your baby has died. I hope that it helps you to understand what may happen in the days and weeks to come. You may find that reading the information and ideas contained within this section enables you to make plans and discuss them with your family.

We wish that we could make this experience easier for you, or wave a magic wand so that it didn’t happen at all. Unfortunately we can’t. You may feel so very alone, but many parents face this news every single day. We share knowledge gained from personal experience, as well as ideas gained from our training with midwives and from working with other baby loss parents for many years.
